Labour Act Registration (Haryana Only)

The object of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition)Act, 1970, is to regulate the employment of contract labour in certain establishments and to provide for its abolition in certain circumstances and for matters connected there.

This Act applies to every establishment in which twenty or more workmen are employed or were employed on any day of the preceding 12 months as Contract Labour and to every contractor who employs or employed twenty or more workmen on any day of the preceding 12 months. The Act is not applicable to an establishment in which work is only of an intermittent or casual nature is performed. We are one of the Best  Labour Act Registration Company in Gurgaon, India.

Benefits of Labour Registration

Death Benefit

The Board sanctions an amount of Rs. 50,000 to the nominees /dependents of a member towards death benefit, in case of normal death and death due to an accident during the employment, the benefit given Rs. 3.00 Lakh.

Cash Award

The Board offers cash awards to three male and three female children of the beneficiaries in each districts at the rate of  5,000, Rs. 4,000 and Rs. 3,500to those who score 75% or above, 65% or less than 75% and 55% or less than 65% mark in HSLC, AHM and H.S.

Maternity Benefit

The registered woman beneficiary shall be given  20,000each as maternity benefit during the period of maternity. This benefit shall be allowed twice only.

Advance for Purchase or construction of house

The Board on application by a member, sanction one time interest free refundable loan amount of  5.00 Lakh for purchase of flat, Rs.2.00 Lakhfor purchase of Land and Rs. 3.00 Lakh for construction of house.

Education Institution

The Board provides job oriented technical education and vocational education to the children of the beneficiaries.

Family Pension

In the event of death of pensioner family pension shall be given to the surviving spouse. The amount of pension will be 50% of the pension received by the deceased pensioner.

Health Check up

Registered construction workers having continuous membership of the fund avail an amount of Rs. 5,000/- once in a year for his/ her annual health check up in any Hospital.

Every principal employer of an establishment who employ 20 or more contract workers have to register under this Act.

Every contractor of an establishment who employ 20 or more contract workers have to obtain Contract licence under this Act.

(i) Application in triplicate in form I
(ii) Original Copy of the Treasury Chalan receipt towards prescribed fee
(iii) Submit the form I in triplicate and original chalan receipt at the office of the District Labour Officer having jurisdiction over the area. No employer shall employ contract workers unless a registration certificate is in force

(i) Application in triplicate in form IV
(ii) Original Copy of the Chalan receipt having remitted the prescribed fee for license at the nearest treasury of the office of the District Labour Officer
(ii) Original Copy of the Chalan receipt having remitted the prescribed fee for security deposit (at the rate of ` 20 for each workmen employed as contract labour) at the nearest treasury of the office of the District Labour Officer
(iii) Certificate by principal employer in form V
(iv) Submit the items in (i) to (iii) at the office of the District Labour Officer having jurisdiction over the area. No employer shall employ contract workers unless a registration certificate is in force

Imprisonment which may extend to 3 months or with fine which may extend to Rs. 500/- or with both for obstruction to the Inspector & Imprisonment which may extend to 3 months or with fine which may extend to Rs. 1000/- or with both for contravention of provision regarding employment of contract labour
